Clean Room & White Space
ATEK Plastics is dedicated to providing high quality products & top notch services. Particularly in the medical field, climate control & sterile environments are necessary in reducing defects & guaranteeing reliable & durable products. ATEK Plastics is equipped at every level for plastic medical devices.
Clean Room
ATEK Plastics has a 1280 square foot clean room work area for its plastic medical device customers.
The Clean Room is equipped with:
• Two airlocks
• Oven to anneal parts
• Dressing area prior to clean room entry
White Space
The ATEK white space is made up of two walls that span 80 feet across our production floor, enclosing an area of 9,120 square feet. The walls extend 14 feet upward and are fabricated from aluminum extrusion and house Lexan sheets to allow a full view of the production areas.
The White Space is equipped with:
• 11 Presses (3 Toshibas, 2 Engels, Ferromatics, Robotshots, & JSW’s)*
• Decoupled II & Decoupled III molding with individual cavity rejection & box loading
• Three vision systems
*Each press is connected to a central material handling system and all but two of the presses are equipped with servo robotics.
